Winderlea Pinot Noir

Formerly known as Goldschmidt Vineyard, the proud new owners of this gorgeous piece of land are Donna Morris and Bill Sweat. They purchased the vineyard five years ago and their stewardship of the land is just outstanding.

Floral nose – always roses from the Winderlea Vineyard. Earthy too, late summer flowers. Good acidity, dark fruit. A suggestion of slate in the middle, with soft tannins.

The finish is elegant with flavors of dark cherry.

No wonder we love how it pairs with Giada’s filet with balsamic syrup and melted goat cheese. Mmmm…
